| About Us |
 |
Ganga Brijghat Charitable Trust.
On the banks of the holy river "Ganga" about 90 KM north of Delhi a
place called Brijghat we have started the Charitable Trsust to help
the underprivileged, leppors, old and homeless people and poor
children who have no one to guide them in the right direction. Our hearts melt at the sight of the poors living below the poverty line
and rely upon the pilgrims who come to perform ceremonies and rituals
at the holy place Brijghat.
Brijghat has a long hostory of temples and many a famous holy men have
lived here and Brijghat is also a popular place for hindus where the
dead bodies are cremated...... In our idealogy it is beleived that
our human body is made from five elements borrowed from the nature and
than when one dies he or she must return the borrowing back to nature
thus cremating the body in the holy fire on the banks of the holy
river Ganga and return fire to fire, air to air, space to space, earth
to earth and water to water. |
